Patti Smith was filmed performing a typically fiery rendition of her 1975 epic "Land" in a new trailer for her upcoming tour documentary Horses: Patti Smith and Her Band.

Smith growls out the lyrics, shaking her fists for the song's locker room showdown scene as the tension in the venue builds.

Horses: Patti Smith and Her Band sets out to document the final concert of her 2015 tour which celebrated the 40th anniversary of her groundbreaking debut album Horses.

Smith's band include her longtime guitarist Lenny Kaye and drummer Jay Dee Daugherty, plus bassist Tony Shanahan, guitarist Jack Petruzzelli, guitarist Jackson Smith, and Flea.

The documentary, which was executive produced by Jimmy Iovine and directed by Steven Sebring, was premiered on 23 April in New York as part of the Tribeca Film Festival.

It will be available to stream via Apple Music from Tuesday 22 May.
